Which software format should I use for my source document?  

Some translated materials may not retain formatting in some kinds of software. We recommend using standard software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Adobe FrameMaker, PageMaker, Illustrator, Acrobat (PDF), Quark Xpress, Corel WordPerfect and CorelDraw.

All employees of Abacus have signed an agreement, but we are happy to sign a non-disclosure contract with your company.

What is a normal turnaround time?  

Typical turnaround time for most projects is three to five business days. This allows enough time for our three-step process: translation, editing and proofing. We work closely with our clients and translators to make sure that the translations are delivered within a reasonable time frame. We also provide an express translation service. What if I need my project sooner than 5 days?  

RUSH SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE! We do charge a slightly higher rate for work done on a rush basis. That rate is determined on a per project basis.

What are your payment terms?

We will require either an official purchase or credit order, a business credit application or a signed contract.

Individual customers

All orders must be prepaid by credit card.

Customers outside the U.S. and Canada

All orders must be prepaid by credit card  or direct deposit to our bank account
